

As part of the “Book lɔ:ntʃ” series, two new books by academics from the Research Center Normative Orders and the ConTrust initiative will be presented. First, on 9 October at 12.30 pm, Prof. Dr. Christopher Daase will present the Peace Report 2023 entitled “Noch lange kein Frieden”, published by transcript-Verlag. This year, it focuses on the global upheavals resulting from the Russian war against Ukraine. The Peace Report is the joint report of the German peace research institutes (BICC / IFSH / INEF / PRIF) and has been published since 1987.
On October 18 at 1 p.m., Prof. Lisbeth Zimmermann, Prof. Nicole Deitelhoff, Dr. Max Lesch, Antonio Arcudi and Anton Peez will present their book “International Norm Disputes. The link between Contestation and Norm Robustness”, which is published by Oxford University Press. In four contemporary and two historical studies, the scholars deal with the contestation of and debate about international norms, institutions and orders. The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Tobias Wille.
