“Kreation Innovation Märkte – Creation Innovation Markets” Festschrift for Reto M. Hilty published

The commemorative publication “Kreation Innovation Märkte – Creation Innovation Markets”, edited by Florent Thouvenin, Alexander Peukert (Normative Orders), Thomas Jaeger and Christophe Geiger, was published by Springer Verlag at the beginning of March. With this volume, the editors pay tribute to the legal scholar and former director of the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition Reto M. Hilty – one of the leading figures in European, German and Swiss intellectual property law.

The range of topics and the variety of authors reflect the diversity of the jubilarian’s activities. The commemorative publication contains contributions on fundamental issues of IP law, patent, copyright, design and trademark law, the protection of trade secrets, the law of geographical indications as well as antitrust and unfair competition law. One focus is on the challenges of digitalization, in particular how IP law deals with data and artificial intelligence (AI).
