„Academia meets Diplomacy“ is a new series organized by the Frauen mit Format network, in which top researchers from Goethe University meet with representatives of the consular corps in Frankfurt to discuss virulent issues from politics and society. On the part of Goethe University, the series of events is supported by the Research Initiative ConTrust – Trust in Conflict and by the Global Office.
The format opens up an informal discussion framework in a small circle, provides insights into current research with direct relevance to major social issues, and promotes networking between the university, urban society, and the international community in Frankfurt.
