Kinderrechte und Kritik: Dekoloniale Perspektiven auf ein Feld der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit

Die UN-Kinderrechtskonvention hat sich seit ihrem Inkrafttreten 1990 zur Grundlage zahlreicher Interventionen im Bereich des Kinderschutzes entwickelt. Dieser normative Rahmen wird in den Empfängerländern von Projekten der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit oft kritische betrachtet, nicht zuletzt aufgrund seines als wertend und exklusiv bezüglich differierender Moralvorstellungen und Richtlinien verstandenen Ansatzes. Wie wichtig es ist lokale Kritiken von Programmen, die auf die Verbesserung von Lebensumständen in ‚nicht-westlichen‘ Gesellschaften abzielen, ernst zu nehmen um dekoloniale Denkweisen auch im Kontext der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit zu fördern, wird deutlich am Beispiel von Kinderschutzprogrammen in Sansibar, Tansania.
