Am Puls Europas? Vortrag von Daniel Röder im Rahmen der Römerberggespräche „Last Exit nach dem Brexit – Ist Europa noch zu retten?“ in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Exzellenzcluster „Die Herausbildung normativer Ordnungen“ im Schauspiel Frankfurt.
Daniel Röder ist Rechtsanwalt und Mediator in der von ihm mitgegründeten Kanzlei Greenfort in Frankfurt am Main. Seit 2009 ist er Lehrbeauftragter an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main sowie seit 2016 an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen. Seit 2013 ist er zudem Richter am hessischen Anwaltsgerichtshof. Im November 2016 war Daniel Röder Impulsgeber zur Gründung der Initiative „Pulse of Europe“, einer überparteilichen und unabhängigen Bürgerinitiative mit dem Ziel, den europäischen Gedanken wieder sichtbar und hörbar zu machen. Pulse of Europe wurde mehrfach ausgezeichnet, u. a. mit dem Europäischen Bürgerpreis 2017 des Europäischen Parlaments, dem Marion Dönhoff Preis für internationale Verständigung und Versöhnung und dem Erich-Fromm-Preis. Der Bundespräsident verlieh Daniel Röder und seiner Frau Sabine für deren Engagement das Bundesverdienstkreuz der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
