Problematisierte polizeiliche Gewaltanwendungen und ihre Aufarbeitung
Die Polizei ist unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen befugt, ausnahmsweise Gewalt anzuwenden, um polizeiliche Maßnahmen durchzusetzen. Dabei kann es zu Fehlern, Überschreitung der rechtlichen Grenzen und Missbrauch kommen. Gleichzeitig ist die aus dieser Gewaltbefugnis folgende Praxis gesellschaftlich durchaus umstritten. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden konkrete polizeiliche Gewaltanwendungen von Betroffenen und in der öffentlichen Debatte immer wieder problematisiert. Der Beitrag geht der Frage nach, wie dabei Diskrepanzen in der Wahrnehmung und Bewertung des Geschehens durch die verschiedenen Beteiligten entstehen und wie diese damit umgehen. Außerdem wird ein Blick auf die Aufarbeitung einschlägiger Vorwürfe insbesondere in folgenden Strafverfahren geworfen. Der Vortrag stützt sich auf die Ergebnisse des DFG-Forschungsprojekts „Körperverletzung im Amt durch Polizeibeamt:innen“ (https://kviapol.uni-frankfurt.de).
