»SAMBIZANGA: The Thin Green Line Between Canons and Revolutions«
Jennifer Blaylock vergleicht in ihrer Lecture Erstaufführungskopien auf 16mm mit der kürzlich erstellten digitalen Restaurierung des Films: „What happens to the revolutionary grainy aesthetics, the militancy of the imperfect image, the subversive qualities of the damaged 16mm print, when a film enters the artistic canon?“
Dr. Jennifer Blaylock ist Assistant Professor am Department of Radio, Television & Film an der Rowan University Glassboro, New Jersey.
