Union constitutional law: A redefinition based on the principles of the EU Treaty
About the book chapter:
This volume further develops the constitutional approach in EU law. It shows how, against the background of the fundamental provisions of the EU Treaties, a new, principled constitutionalism is replacing the earlier functional constitutionalism. The authors discuss central dogmatic and theoretical questions of Union constitutional law. The contributions are based on the text and systematics of the EU Treaties, which concretize a constitutional core laid down in their first provisions and contribute to the development of a European society shaped by the constitutional principles of Article 2 of the EU Treaty.
