About the book
The attacks of September 11, 2001 and the subsequent military and paramilitary conflicts have been met with an intense interplay of narratives and counter-narratives in cinema from the very beginning. The volume takes this polyphonic audiovisual dialog as an opportunity to examine the role of film in the controversial moral, legal and political debates of the present day.+
