Normative Orders leaves social media platform “X” and switches to Bluesky
More than sixty German-speaking universities and research institutions, including Goethe University Frankfurt, have jointly suspended their activities on the social media platform “X” (formerly Twitter) at the beginning of 2025. The “Normative Orders” research center is joining this action and will no longer publish posts on “X” in the future. Meaningful science communication requires an environment in which a fact-based, transparent and democratic discourse can be conducted. This is currently no longer the case on “X”.
The Research Center’s X account will therefore remain in a “frozen” state – no new content will be published, but all past posts can still be viewed. At the same time, the research center is now represented on the social media platform Bluesky and will continue to post event announcements and other news there. The Normative Orders Research Center will also remain active on Facebook and YouTube.
