Criminal law as a risk – Festschrift for Cornelius Prittwitz published
On the occasion of Cornelius Prittwitz’s 70th birthday, the commemorative publication “Strafrecht als Risiko” (Criminal Law as Risk) was recently published by Beatrice Brunhöber, Christoph Burchard, Klaus Günther, Matthias Jahn, Michael Jasch, Jesús-María Silva Sánchez and Tobias Singelnstein at Nomos Verlag. In over 40 contributions by renowned authors from Germany and abroad, the book honors Prittwitz as the author of the well-known monograph on high-risk criminal law and as a scientist at the Frankfurt Institute for Criminal Science and Philosophy of Law, who advocates a rational criminal policy based on the ultima ratio principle and is committed to a fair criminal and criminal procedure law that respects and protects fundamental rights.
