Master’s student of English (literature option) at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria
Her research at Goethe University explores (Dis)trust in the conduct of Nigeria’s election, between fiction and reality with an emphasis on the recent 2023 elections. At the moment, she is also working on her Master’s thesis titled “The Prophethood of Yoruba deities” which will be looking at the justification of Yoruba deities as prophets.
From 27th September, 2023 till 1st March, 2024, she will be working on her research in the Con Trust programme as an international fellow at the Institute of English and American Studies, under the supervision of Dr. Pavan Malreddy.

Shukurat Adeola Titilola holds a Bachelor's degree in English Education/Christian Religious Studies from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. Currently, she is a Master's student of English (literature option) at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. -
