Biografische Angaben
Tobias Singelnstein has been Professor of Criminology and Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law at Goethe University since the summer semester of 2022. Previously, he held the Chair of Criminology at Ruhr University Bochum and was Junior Professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at Freie Universität Berlin, where he also completed his habilitation. Tobias Singelnstein's work focuses on the one hand on criminology. His research interests include social control and society, police and justice as well as security research. He is also active in criminal law and criminal procedural law, where he focuses on investigative measures and evidence law, data processing in criminal proceedings and criminal law and digitalization. He is co-editor of the journals "Neue Kriminalpolitik" and "Kriminologisches Journal". In 2020, he was elected to the DFG Review Board 113 (Law). -
