This volume brings together essays by renowned international and European law experts on the past and future of international law, written on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Frankfurt University. It deals with the history of international and European law, the central importance of the “spiritual dimension” of the European legal order and the Internet as an opportunity to involve all those affected by global legislation in the decision-making process.
