Theorizing Global Order
About the book
Theorizing international relations has always presupposed an understanding of the subject area being reflected upon – for example, the “international” and “global” or categories such as “relations” and “system”. Although “order” is a central category of both political discourse and the discipline of international relations, the concept is theorized surprisingly little. This volume offers divergent contemporary perspectives on how global order can be theorized.
