The “Justitia Center for Advanced Studies” is a forum for political theorists and philosophers who are interested in the pressing political issues of our time. The aim is to bring together theoretical and methodological perspectives from diverse approaches to normative debates about the future of our societies. The Center is generously funded by the Alfons and Gertrud Kassel Foundation and directed by Prof. Dr. Rainer Forst at the University of Frankfurt. Each year, up to three postdoctoral researchers are invited to join the academic environment in Frankfurt and, above all, the network of the “Normative Orders” research center to carry out their innovative research projects. The scholarship holders reside in the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften in Bad Homburg. The center also regularly organizes workshops, conferences and seminars.
The Justitia Center for Advanced Studies is headed by Prof. Dr. Rainer Forst.
