Crises have historically been an important driver of change and progress in the EU. In crisis situations, the EU, which is characterized by great heterogeneity and geared towards consensual opinion-forming, has so far mostly been able to create common perceptions, overcome blockades and shape integration. In the Crisis Talks series, the Leibniz Research Alliance \u201cCrises in a Globalized World\u201d, together with Research Centre Normative Orders at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, is exploring the question of how Europe should deal with its current and past crises. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussion series has been organized by the Leibniz Research Alliance “Crises in a Globalized World” and the Hessian State Representation to the EU in Brussels since June 2015. The Leibniz Europe Office and the Research Center for Normative Orders at Goethe University Frankfurt are also involved. PRIF has been the lead coordinator of the Leibniz Research Alliance “Crises in a Globalized World” since 2013.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
