Between 2021 and 2023 he was a Research Fellow at The London School of Economics. He is Head Teaching Assistant at the University of Buenos Aires. His research combines philosophy and social science methods to study moral aspects in climate change politics.

Research project: Moral grounds of Global South negotiating positions at climate COPs

Most Global South countries demand that Global North countries should bear a larger climate action burden than Global South countries. Yet there are striking divergences in what Global South countries demand and how they ground their demands. This project leverages the mutual benefit theory in moral psychology, particularly in its contractualist variety, in order to improve our understanding of those diverse negotiating positions. The ultimate goal is to explain why different countries adopt different moral groundings for positions that demand different kinds of actions from the Global North.

Publications (selection)

2025 “A limit to subsistence emisisons”. Daimon (forthcoming)

2024 ‘Influence match: can corporate lobbying equalise political influence?’ The Journal of Ethics (link)

2023 ‘The Ethics of Climate Activism’. WIREs Climate Change (link)

Adjunct Researcher, National Research Council, Argentina (CONICET, Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas) Duration of stay: 5 January to 4 February, 2026 In cooperation with Prof. Dr. Rainer Forst […]

[214

post-12367","member","type-member","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","position-fellow-en
