Entstanden in den vergangenen drei\u00dfig Jahren aus der Video-, DV- und Streaming-Revolution, bewegt sich das neue nigerianische Kino auf eigenem Terrain, aber zugleich auch &#8211; \u00fcber Einfl\u00fcsse aus Brasilien und den USA &#8211; im Horizont des Black Atlantic. Anhand von Kenneth Gyangs CONFUSION NA WA von 2013 gehen Didi Cheeka und Vinzenz Hediger diesen Zusammenh\u00e4ngen nach. Inspiriert von Fela Kutis Song \u201eConfusion\u201c erz\u00e4hlt der Film die Geschichte einer Gruppe von Menschen, deren Leben im Laufe eines Tages miteinander verwoben werden.<\/p>\n<p>Didi Cheeka ist off-Nollywood-Filmemacher, Kritiker und Archivist-Aktivist in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>Tunde Aladese ist Schriftstellerin, Drehbuchautorin und Schauspielerin in Lagos und Berlin.
