With its unprecedented scale and consequences, the COVID-19 pandemic has challenged norms and put systems of governance to the test, but also generated a variety of new configurations of media. Responding to demands for information, synchronization, regulation, and containment, these \u201cpandemic media\u201d reshape social interactions, spaces, and temporalities.
\n\u201ePandemic Media. Preliminary Notes Toward an Inventory\u201d is a collection of 37 essays studying how media emerge, operate, and change in response to the global crisis. Edited by an international group of researchers working with the Research Centre Normative Orders and the Gradudate Research Training Program \u201cKonfigurationen des Films\u201d at Goethe Universit\u00e4t, \u201cPandemic Media\u201d proposes to provide elements towards an understanding of the post-pandemic world to come.<\/p>\n
