Our Planet, Our Health is a series of conversations on justice issues related to planetary health, designed for a general audience. In each episode, we speak with leading experts from around the world about the ethical, legal, and social challenges at the intersection of global health, the environment, and justice.<\/p>\n
Why this series?
\nOur health shapes how we live, plan our futures, spend time with loved ones, have fun, build careers, and raise children. Every day, we learn more about how human health is deeply intertwined with the health of our planet and with the actions of others.<\/p>\n
Our well-being depends on coworkers staying home when they\u2019re sick, on people getting vaccinated, on companies developing new medicines, on lawyers and activists fighting environmental contamination and climate change, on scientists discovering treatments, and on ethicists helping set priorities.<\/p>\n
We are a species with complex, intergenerational life plans\u2014and yet we are profoundly vulnerable.<\/p>\n
